The Global Aids Coordinator Office (S/GAC) is seeking a virtual intern to be part of the
team committed to accelerating momentum for harnessing the data revolution for
sustainable development. Improving the collection and use of data for monitoring
progress and for real-time program optimization is critical to sustainable development.
The eIntern will assist with brainstorming ideas, identifying areas to explore, compiling,
analyzing, developing data visualizations, and ensuring the widespread use of data to advance implementation and monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainable Development Goals reflect global consensus that data is
critical for their success – by improving the quality of interventions and services as well as
ensuring progress can be tracked.
The eIntern project is designed for students who care about sustainable development, global
health, and sustainable control of HIV/AIDS, and the power of good data to make a
