Project Description

This project involves three main components. First, the assistant would help us monitor our Facebook account, analyze and report on the comments we receive, and provide information to fans who ask us questions or send us messages. Secondly, the assistant would proactively reach out to residents in our district (both Palestinians and U.S. citizens) to share our messages and answer their questions. Lastly, the assistant would make inroads with the Palestinian diaspora in the United States and serve as a liaison between Palestinian-Americans and the Consulate. As part of this outreach, the intern would collect content from the Palestinians living in the United States to share on our social media properties. A second intern will create infographics and short animations for our social media sites. This first intern will need to communicate with Palestinians online and with the Palestinian diaspora, so Arabic would be helpful.

Required Skills or Interests
Additional Information

Arabic language would be a big plus for at least one of these positions. If you have the skills to create good infographics and short animations, don't let a lack of linguistic competence keep you from applying.
