The ideal candidate is a self-described history nerd comfortable with all forms of social media. We are looking for a someone to help research and curate new online content for Today’s Document, and to help drive audience participation in using archival materials. You are excited about finding new stories in the Archives and engaging the public. You have strong research and communications skills, are comfortable with most social media platforms, and follow the latest trends and memes.
Historical and Archival Research
Strong Writing & Communication Skills
Experience with social media platforms including Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook
Experience with digital media and formats, including basic digital image manipulation in Photoshop.
Able to multi-task and meet firm deadlines
