Project Description

The eIntern with the United States Embassy in France will assist with public diplomacy projects in coordination with the EducationUSA office based at the Fulbright Commission in Paris, France. The eIntern will have a direct impact on French students and provide essential support to to the EducationUSA advising center.. The duties of the eIntern will include but are not limited to: promoting U.S. higher education though social media (especially videos on YouTube and Facebook) and other virtual tools, proof-reading and providing feedback on application essays, conducting Webinars about “Your 5-steps to US Study” (school selection, application procedures, pre-departure information, etc), researching information and preparing documents – preferably in French – about study opportunities in the United States.

The VSFS program opens up opportunities to build long-term relationships with French high school students and advance students’ awareness of the American higher education system. This is your chance to participate in establishing collaboration and promote transnational ties between the two nations.
E-interns will collaborate with an American Fulbright English Teaching Assistant based in France and volunteering for the Fulbright Commission in Paris/EducationUSA advising center.
