Project Description

The more you know about history, the more you’re aware that it’s infinitely interesting, vibrant, and relevant to our current time. But to many people whose only experience is through a class to fulfill a requirement in school that is sometimes taught by a disinterested coach who drew the short straw at the beginning of the school year, history can seem dry and boring. We’re looking for an artist in residence to develop original work for products like posters, trading cards, GIFs, infographics, or animations for social media that explore visions of the past and convey the excitement, heroism, and drama of historical events and figures.
