Project Summary Work with USAID’s E3 (Office of Economic Growth, Education and Environment) Water Office to increase water sector program communication, knowledge sharing and learning, as we seek to improve access to safe and adequate water supply and sanitation and manage water resources to enhance food security.

Project Description

Water is essential for human health, food security, energy, and resilience in the face of climate change. Living without reliable access to water puts 660 million people globally at risk of illness, lost income, and malnourishment. Under current estimates, two-thirds of the world’s population will live in water stressed conditions by 2025. E3/W seeks an intern to support communication, knowledge management and research activities, including:
• Manage and write blogs, conduct research and contribute content for a new Water portal
• Research and write country profiles
• Support social media
• Support a new water security learning community
• Build up water sector photo collection
