Libyan students are keen to study in the U.S. but, generally, new to the international student market. We seek an American intern who can make short videos about study in the U.S. From the admission process, to selecting the school, to arriving at the school, social life, extracurricular activities, volunteering, working, student leadership, athletics, academics, what is major?, internship, honor codes, study groups, writing papers, making presentations, staying safe, etc. Anything and everything about being a student at an American university. We seek an intern who can develop creative, engaging videos which will be featured on the U.S. Embassy Libya Facebook page.
Self-starter; passion for education and sharing knowledge about education with prospective foreign students; organizational, communication (social media) and research skills. Ability to make charming, engaging and effective short videos about university life in the U.S., both scholastic and extra-curricular features.
Coordinate with the Public Affairs Officer at the Libya External Office.
