USAJOBS.gov handles more than 350k job announcements for the US Civil Service every year. As part of this, a wealth of information is aggregated, detailing the supply and demand of the Federal workforce. We at the USAJOBS Data & Analytics Team are tasked with methodically examining this data alongside supplementary datasets to discover ways to improve the hiring process for job seekers and government hiring managers. To support this, we are looking for VSFS eInterns to work with us revealing new insights, to code new applications which communicate this information, and to help government work more efficiently. This is a great opportunity for students interested in data science, looking to grow their coding skills, become familiar with web design standards, or who want to research aspects of the Federal hiring process!
