USAJOBS.gov, the primary interface between Federal job seekers and agencies, is working to make hiring decisions smarter. Through data analysis and visualization, you’ll work with the USAJOBS Data Analytics Team to analyze job opening announcements, Federal workforce, and socioeconomic data to affect change on a government-wide level.
We’ll be diving into questions that include:
Does the Civil Service reflect the demographic make-up of the constituents it serves?
How can we bridge that gap between private sector and Federal government workforce nomenclature?
What methods can be used to determine mission critical occupations using natural language processes?
We’re looking for a set of VSFS eInterns interested in exploring data, determining new questions to ask, reporting on findings, and seeking innovative methods to improve the hiring process. If this is an area you're interested, we're excited to work with you!
