Project Description

The State Department's Strong State Initiative seeks an intern to collect experiences from Embassies and Consulates and throughout in the Department about their leadership and management challenges and solutions. Gather and evaluate leadership and management best practices and lessons learned in the field to share with State via the Deputy’s StrongState blog. Tell the story - highlight great initiatives in compelling ways, illustrating and explaining them in easy-to-reuse formats.

Research, draft, and edit timely and accurate blog posts, and possibly brochures, presentations, blog posts, digital videos, and podcasts, related to StrongState issues for the internal State Department audience. Communicate with the Deputy’s team to spread awareness of important initiatives. Potentially, advocate for key practices that should be broadly adopted.
