Project Description

DRL/MLGA seeks an intern with interest and experience in human rights and LGBTI rights to support DRL’s work to uphold and protect the human rights of LGBTI persons. The Position requires frequent coordination with the Department’s regional bureaus and U.S. Embassies overseas, as well as coordination with civil society organizations. Officer responsible for analyzing news developments, reviewing cables and country conditions, and researching thematic areas such as law reform and violence protection efforts. Strong research, analysis, and writing skills are required.
