Project Description

While the job responsibilities and project details for each Tech@State intern varies (as we provide and support a customized Tech@State internship experience for each student we select), all of our Campus Ambassadors will gain hands on experience being part of a team that works on a wide range of exciting and challenging technology-related projects & initiatives here at State. By engaging as 'teammates' alongside our Foreign Service IT Specialists who serve in embassies and related missions around the world, our interns gain a unique perspective into the work we do to innovate and support technologies, systems, and processes that power American diplomacy & protect our nation’s information assets. Our interns don’t do busy work, or engage in mindless computer tasks that are second-nature to a digital-native; rather, we view our interns as key team members who come to the table as experts in the very thing we value most--new ideas.
