The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program is the Federal government's flagship leadership development program for advanced degree holders. Each year, we recruit thousands of applicants to apply to the Fellowship and work with over 100 Federal agencies to create Fellowship opportunities.
To support our recruitment efforts, we have created the PMF Ambassadors Program. PMF Ambassadors are a volunteer network of current PMFs and PMF Alumni who are available to engage academic institutions and prospective applicants about the program. Ambassadors carry out a wide variety of activities, such as conducting information sessions, serving on career panels, hosting brown bags, or serving as mentors for graduate students.
Our office seeks an intern to help manage the efforts of our 150-person volunteer network, help document our existing strategy for outreach and engagement, analyze the effectiveness of the program, and identify program improvements. Through this role, you will have the opportunity to think creatively with the support of a collaborative team.
An interest in leadership development, university relations, marketing, graphic design, data analysis, and communications will be an asset. The following skills are preferred, but not required. We seek a creative thinker, with strong writing skills, and an interest in learning. |

The Healthcare and Insurance office within the U.S. Office of Personnel Management provides healthcare benefits to more than 8.3 million covered lives. The goal of this project is to educate users on family member eligibility rules pertaining to healthcare coverage. You will contribute to improving the effectiveness of the Program and help users understand the often complex and intimidating rules of health insurance. We will apply user centered design principles to craft graphics that are beautiful and accessible across many platforms.
In your role, you will use your creativity to design graphics that engage and excite users to learn more about health insurance policy. In addition, you will create high-quality animated videos to communicate the message and create emotional resonance with users. As the campaign is rolled out, you will analyze social media to report on customer reactions to the campaign.
Finally, you may also do other tasks as mutually agreed. |
