The eIntern with the United States Embassy in Moscow will assist with public diplomacy projects in coordination with the EducationUSA Russia. The eIntern will have a direct impact on Russian students and provide essential support to advising centers throughout Russia. The duties of the eIntern will include but are not limited to: engage Russian students and advisers through social media and other virtual tools, proof-read and provide feedback on application essays, conduct virtual test-prep sessions, give virtual presentations on campus and academic life in the U.S., research current events in Russian higher education.
The VSFS program opens up opportunities to build long-term relationships with Russian high school and university students along with young professionals, advance students’ awareness of the American higher education system, and contribute to professional development. This is your chance to participate in establishing collaboration and promote humanitarian ties between the two nations.
"Working with EducationUSA-Russia has been a wonderful experience. The eInternship is a unique opportunity to use technology and personal communication as a basis for mutual understanding. You will meet interesting people, share knowledge, sharpen your technology skills, work virtually in another country, and participate in grassroots diplomacy", said Kathleen Kearney, VSFS eIntern 2015-16.
We are seeking one eIntern to work with undergraduate and another eIntern to work with graduate students. Please indicate the audience you would like to work with.
