Project Description

We need a self-motivated candidate to work with the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs’ (EAP) Office of Public Affairs to create social media content that highlights U.S. engagement with East Asia and the Pacific to the general public. The intern’s duties will include the following:

- research and draft social media content on foreign policy topics and State Department activities across the EAP region
- create infographics, multimedia and other visual content to support social media campaigns
- monitor social media accounts for campaign content
- track the performance and statistics of our social media platforms and provide weekly/monthly analytics reports
- make creative recommendations on how to improve future content in order to increase audience reach and engagement
