|Number of Interns||1|
This project is to create a WordPress website about our Competitive College Club (CCC) which would link to the CCC section of our current web page.The WordPress website would better explain what CCC is, highlight the accomplishments of its students/alumni, keep the public informed, etc. Please see the additional information section for details on CCC.
The selected intern would be responsible for the creation, design, and maintenance of this new website, all while keeping in mind user friendliness and experience and website look and feel. They would also work with the EducationUSA team for material and feedback. Because we are based in Spain, and we'd like this to be accessible to everyone in the country, we ask that the intern have at least an intermediate level of Spanish so that published information on the website could be in both English and Spanish.
We'd love to have someone who is passionate about digital design and website development, and who is creative and innovative.

EducationUSA Spain’s Competitive College Club (CCC) is comprised of the brightest students in Spain who are interested in studying their undergraduate degree in the U.S. The CCC is a two year program during a student’s Junior and Senior year, supporting students with researching universities, investigating financial aid options, preparing for SAT/ACT, developing personal essay writing skills and navigating the application process as a whole.
The overall goal of CCC is to provide academic advising and information on all the processes necessary to not only apply, but how to have a stellar application and be a very competitive candidate!
The CCC in Spain started in 2014, with just a few students. In 2018-2019, it'll have about 40 Juniors and 30 Seniors participating. From the 2017-2018 Seniors cohort, all students were accepted into at least one US university, and many of them will attend with full or partial scholarships. It is one of the most active cohort advising programs in Europe and a priority program for the global EducationUSA network.
