The Office of English Language Programs in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State is looking for a virtual intern to help with creating short, animated videos for English language learners. If you have a passion for the English language and experience using GoAnimate (or have the desire to learn before the internship begins), then apply for this Virtual Student Foreign Service eInternship project! Applicants with experience or educational background in English language teaching (TESOL, applied linguistics, etc.) preferred.
You will work directly with the office's social media manager and will be expected to complete at least 8 short animated videos during the academic year.
The videos will be published on our very active American English Facebook page (with nearly 3 million followers) and will reach a wide, global audience of English language learners and teachers. You can see the work of our eInterns from this past year on our American English Facebook page (facebook.com/AmericanEnglishatState/videos) and YouTube channel (youtube.com/user/StateAmericanEnglish).
