Want to help prevent new HIV infections, save lives, and accelerate progress toward ending AIDS as a public health threat? The Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy leads implementation of the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). PEPFAR is the U.S. government initiative to help save the lives of those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. We are using data to do the right things, in the right places, right now, and in the right way.
The Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy seeks motivated students who would like to improve their translation skills through the development of PEPFAR technical documentation in French or Portuguese.

These VSFS participants will work closely with PEPFAR staff that are charged with managing PEPFAR’s monitoring evaluation and reporting indicators and supporting health information systems in over 50 countries around the world. Students will also engage PEPFAR team members directly in Francophone or Lusophone countries in Africa. Take this opportunity to apply your language skills in contribution to one of the greatest public health responses in history.
