Project Description

In this project, as a content creator, you will work with Operation SongTM, a nonprofit organization based in Tennessee that uses musical therapy to help Veterans. Through this partnership, interns create blog posts highlighting Veterans who have written songs through the organization. Operating Song Writing Interns will contact and interview Veterans who have used musical therapy through the nonprofit organization. Interns will tell these stories via blog posts.

You may be asked, also, to reach out to providers of other forms of therapy to write about the Veterans that they treat. The core of this project is to tell the stories of Veterans who have benefited from various forms of treatment. Your efforts will help to show other Veterans the progress and improvements can be made through these amazing treatment opportunities.
