Project Summary Interns will develop an internet based virtual American Cultural Center to engage Egyptians who are unable to visit our brick and mortar center. They will develop cultural, English language, current affairs, science, film, book and media programming to reach young Egyptians.

Project Description

Embassy Cairo Public Affairs aims to reach Egyptians, especially young Egyptians, who are unable to attend our events in person. Programming will be internet based, likely on a Facebook platform but we are open minded on selecting the most viable options. Interns will work with American and Egyptian Public Affairs staff to develop the platform and the content. Content will include but is not limited to: studying in the U.S., English language, American culture—film, arts, books; current affairs, science, other elements of American society and culture to increase engagement between Americans and Egyptians.

You will be part of a innovative team of interns and Embassy American and Egyptian staff seeking to creatively extend Embassy programs beyond the confines of the embassy.
