Project Description

The eIntern will work closely with the American Center team at U.S. Embassy Tunis on designing evaluation surveys for each Public Diplomacy program (approximately 2-6 per week) using Google forms to evaluate the impact on the participants’ attitude, knowledge and behavior. Surveys could also evaluate the speaker’s performance, could solicit further event ideas/suggestions from participants, etc. The eIntern will also analyze collected data (using both quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods) and store them in a shared excel sheet. The eIntern will then take the gist from the analyzed data and turn it into thematic and easy-to-read infographics.
The eIntern will use Google Drive to constantly share his/her work with the American Center team. Canva.com would be the preferred infographic design tool.
The eIntern will also do monthly live campus tours to show Tunisian students different parts of a U.S. campus. These live tours will be conducted in English and will be vlog-style and interactive. Each month, the eIntern will focus on a new part of a U.S. campus or a new theme. Ideas may include the food court, the gym, the library, dorms, the international students office, etc. Depending on the focus of the tour, the eIntern is encouraged to coordinate with others in advance to enrich the live tours. For example, they can involve the librarian in the library tour or an admissions officer to help with the admissions office tour. If the theme is food, the eIntern can coordinate with the manager of the food court, then do testimonials from students to give their input on food and nutrition on campus.
