Project Description

Help us attract more members, increase our social media reach, enhance the visibility of current programming through dynamic, more visually appealing and powerful imagery. Help us with Website design, communications and outreach materials and membership interface and interactions. Website Design & Social Media Intern
Update the BICTR site on a regular basis with articles, photos and videos.
Write short posts to highlight the activity of the chapter. Connect our social media sites with other social media influencers to optimize exposure.
Recommend social media site updates to improve interface and functionality.
Advise the chapter on new trends in social media and recommend ways to best leverage those based on our mission and goals
Attend monthly meetings and special meetings remotely.

Blacks in Government Carl T. Rowan Chapter (BIGCTR) functions as a nonprofit, employee support, advocacy and resource Employee Affinity Group (EAG) at the Department of State in Washington, DC. The organization is open to all employees and contractor staff working at the Department. Our goal is to promote the well-being of all government employees on issues of Equity, Excellence, and Opportunity in the workplace through Advocacy, Education and Training.
