Project Code: NSF-USA-2
|Project Title||Portfolio Analysis for Research on Networking Technology and Systems|
|Project Summary||Contribute to the analysis of short-term and long-term trends in the computer networking projects funded by the Networking Technology and Systems (NeTS) cluster at NSF. Use publicly-available information to identify recent developments and the focus areas of the research efforts funded by NSF.|
|Agency||National Science Foundation|
|Number of Interns||2|
The NSF Networking Technology and Systems (NeTS) program funds hundreds of research programs in all aspects of computer networking, including wired, wireless, social networking, optical networking, and more. intern(s) will contribute to developing insights about the past and current portfolio of the research projects funded by the program. The major goal is to create a “big picture” of the research landscape, analyze major research trends, and present the findings to the stakeholders. The analysis will help guide and promote future investments in networking system research, which is the future of networking technology everybody uses. As part of the project, the intern will develop a website that includes in-depth information about the currently funded projects and their outcomes.
No special website creating skills are needed.
