EDA will select interested and qualified intern(s) to join its Denver-based administrative and program staff in the delivery of support for economic development initiatives across ten central and mountain states. The selected interns will work side-by-side with economic development professionals on federally supported projects and programs, thereby acquiring useful hands-on experience in areas of grants management, administrative reviews and performance assessments. Internship hours and duration are flexible.
The selected intern(S) would be conducting research, developing analysis and presenting findings as it pertains to both standard economic development initiatives, as well as supporting the Denver Regional Office in its multi-agency support of disaster impacted communities across the region. This project will provide the intern(s) with exposure to federal grant requirements and monitoring procedures, data systems and report generation, policy implementation and multiple aspects of public service delivery.
