Project Description

As a remote member of Embassy Doha’s Political and Economic Section, the eIntern will join an active team of diplomats covering a wide variety of matters related to U.S. – Qatar relations ranging from economic development to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The eIntern will assume the role of assistant at-large and help a combined Political-Economic Section by identifying and reporting on political and economic developments in Qatar. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting reports, compiling data, analyzing complex economic situations, and monitoring the energy sector and its impact on global markets in relation to the U.S. The eIntern can also expect to be assigned additional projects by other officers depending on the needs of the section.
