Project Description

Climate adaptation is focused on managing species and natural resources in the face of climate change. We are focusing on areas that are buffered from climate change to focus limited staff time and money. These areas, known as climate change refugia, still need to be mapped and we are bringing together expert scientists and managers to collaborate on this work.

We are looking for someone eager to help fight the effects of climate change by adding to a website for experts to track the latest in climate change refugia science and management. Specifically, the content will include references to peer-reviewed literature and government reports, images, and newly developed content on project goals and updates, focused on 7 species/ecosystems, all brought together in a publicly accessible, user-friendly website. You will also help direct the network's social media strategy. You will be supervised by an expert in this area and have the opportunity to interact with scientists and natural resource managers.
