Project Description

The goal of this project is to enhance the look and usability of EducationUSA Nigeria's Opportunity Funds Program website (www.educationusanigeria.org). The website was launched in March 2018 to explain the Opportunity Funds Program (OFP), highlight the accomplishments of OFP scholars and alumni, and to educate, engage, and empower prospective college applicants. The selected interns would be responsible for maintaining the website, creating graphics, and updating content. The interns would have some freedom to be creative, while also sticking to the general design already in place. This project will also include creating content for the blog and social media related to the website and the Opportunity Funds Program to give them more visibility. The interns would work with the Lagos EducationUSA team for material and feedback.

The OFP works closely with students through regularly scheduled meetings and seminars to assist them throughout the application process to secure admission and scholarships to attend colleges and universities in the United States.
