Project Description

One intern will work remotely with the political section to gather open source media and track trends related to human rights violations in El Salvador on a range of issues including: human trafficking, gender based violence, abuse of force, freedom of expression, LGBTI, and more. You will review press reports and social media in Spanish, translating and logging your research to be included in the Human Rights Report and other products. You will also draft analysis on specific cases, identify trends, and make recommendations on human rights topics.
