The embassy is located on the equator in western Africa. The intern selected for this project will be focused on researching solar and snake reduction technologies that could be effective in the area. The deliverables for this internship will include:
A report and research on solar applications that are suitable for powering small pieces of equipment and solar applications that can be easily procured and used in the region.
An informational brochure and infographics on how to quickly and easily identify different types of snakes prevalent in the region, mitigation techniques and what to do if bitten.
A report and research on snake mitigation technologies that could be successful in the area.
To share helpful information with the public, will create infographics and other informational / data visualization products for public reference on the topics mentioned above.
