As an intern in this office you will be assigned projects of interest to aid in technical solution research, writing pro/con or decision papers on the solutions, and helping our team to manage the knowledge we gain from each engagement. As a new office, we are starting with what each of our members brings to the table. If you are interested in being on the cutting edge of moving our corporate culture from legacy diplomatic relations to the digital environment, this is the office. You will get experience using Microsoft O365 Suite of tools, Google G Suite, Sharepoint, etc. You will also get the ability to determine if the federal service is calling you. Come join one of the oldest agencies within the US government and help us to move into the future while focusing on our customers.
If you are interested in joining our team, your primary mentor has experience within the IC working as an all-source analyst and is more than happy to help you hone your research and analytical skills. The secondary mentor is a cyber security expert with experience within the government and private sectors as a CISO. The rest of the BRU is comprised of members with experience in legal, corporate information security, public diplomacy, economics, graphic design, etc. The whole team is excited at the prospect of providing this opportunity to a few students who are hungry to learn and gain the real world experience an office like this can provide. Our team will be looking to learn as much from you as you are likely to learn from us. If you have even a passing interest in learning to lead through a corporate culture shift and are tech savvy please apply.
Nice to have skills will include Graphic Design, Website development, content management, marketing, social media outreach, etc. These are not required for the internship. Please note that our team is very diverse in our skills, experience, and interest and we are all looking forward to passing on our experience to those with the interest and passion to learn.
