Project Description

Our office produces summaries and reports on relevant Brazilian environment, science, technology, and health (ESTH) issues to Washington audiences. The interns would assist in research and the drafting of weekly reports. Additionally, the interns might be asked to research and prepare short summaries on topics like: the main data sources on Amazon deforestation rates; the process of Brazil's uses to certify legal versus illegal timber, or compile figures for trends in Brazilian government funding for science and technology.
