Project Summary Nearly two out of three people in sub-Saharan Africa do not have access to electricity, which limits access to health care, education, and economic opportunities for more than 570 million people. Power Africa is improving lives and energizing economies by increasing access to electricity.

Project Description

Over the past six years, Power Africa has supported the energy sector in 40 African countries. Power Africa works with 12 government agencies to support the installation of energy projects across sub-Saharan Africa.

The VSFS intern(s) will support Power Africa by performing thorough and credible research & analysis, provide presence at webinars, data management, summarize information needed for program development, and curate content that helps shape the tools and mechanisms to increase energy access in sub-Saharan Africa. The VSFS intern(s) will contribute to Power Africa's efforts to increase energy development in sub-Saharan Africa, and increase accessibility and reliability to affordable energy.
