Are you looking to gain international work experience? Are you interested in youth development and peer-to-peer leadership? Participate in an internship that let you plan your own programming and improve your leadership skills mentoring Azerbaijani students! Work closely with your internship supervisor and gain program management skills. Applicants with experience in student development, peer-to-peer leadership, teaching, or youth program development and facilitation are encouraged to apply.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of advising centers over 175 countries. The advising center in Azerbaijan provides prospective applicants with accurate, comprehensive, and timely information regarding opportunities to study in the U.S. colleges and universities. Intern selected for the project will work under the supervision of EducationUSA center in Baku.
The EducationUSA VSFS e-intern will help manage the Competitive College Club (CCC) and College Prep Club (CPC) programs for roughly 30 students of 15-20 years old. These are intensive cohort-based advising programs that assist Azerbaijani high school students interested in applying to American universities and colleges.
As an intern assigned to this program, you will need to facilitate 2 sessions per month with one-hour duration that may include academic writing, career development, leadership development, academic inquiry, book discussions and conversation sessions.
