The Office of eDiplomacy keeps abreast of the latest tech trends, particularly communication and collaborative technologies. We are seeking an intern who can curate a twice-weekly selection of technology-related press clips for broad distribution across the Department of State. The intern would also manage the office’s social media presence and use his/her graphic design and/or videography skills to give a human face to the work we do. This would be an ideal project for an intern who is fascinated by technology; has social media and design skills, and also has an interest in foreign affairs.

Additional Information

The Office of eDiplomacy advances U.S. diplomacy by advocating for end users and ensuring innovations are driven by business requirements, knowledge management, collaboration, and design thinking. We advocate for State Department employees’ needs in IT investments, policies, and services; support U.S. diplomats across the globe with collaborative technologies; and promote diplomatic and technological innovations to both foreign affairs colleagues and civil society partners. To this end, we have established a Human Centered Design Lab that supports IT investments across the Department of State.
