As a remote member of Embassy Tokyo’s Economic Section, the virtual intern will join our team working on researching, tracking, and summarizing news items pertaining to the U.S.-Japan economic relationship and the impact of U.S.-China trade on our overall economic relationship with Japan. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, canvassing major news outlets in the United States, compiling relevant news, summarizing each article, and providing news links in a user-friendly, easily-accessible email to the Economic section on a weekly basis. The virtual intern may be assigned additional projects depending on the needs of the section.
