Project Description

As a remote member of Embassy Tokyo’s Economic Section, the eIntern will join a team working to uphold a free and open Indo-Pacific in which nations are able to maintain their sovereignty while pursuing economic growth consistent with international laws and the principles of fair competition. The eIntern will assume the role of Infrastructure Analyst to identify infrastructure opportunities and record project outcomes to improve business cooperation between companies and agencies from the United States and Japan in developing economies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting reports, compiling data, analyzing complex business transactions, and monitoring open source reporting. The eIntern can may be assigned additional depending on the needs of the section.
