EducationUSA Georgia is looking for an intern interested in mentoring the Leadership Academy Georgia–CCC (Competitive College Club) Grade 10-12 students representing all the regions of the country.
To strengthen students’ English skill development, as an intern, you will be expected to lead at least 2 Virtual Clubs, focusing on enhancing speaking skills. You will be able to organize and run the Conversational/Book Club Discussion and Speaking clubs through diverse and creative activities including but not limited to advancing members’ public speaking, debate, presentation, and interview skills.
As a second part of the internship, you will need to meet virtually and work closely with students on additional learning needs, based on your interest and background knowledge. This may include guiding students through the techniques of writing effective college essays, shaping and categorizing activities for college application, and providing tools for complying with a standout college CV or Resume.
You will be able to develop your individual and flexible instructional approach to engage students by letting them write, read, interact, and accomplish assignments. Our team welcomes your ideas and initiatives.
