EducationUSA Romania is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic intern who is passionate about global education and new education technologies. We would like you to share your knowledge of the U.S. education system with our advisees through regular webinars, and also connect with the wider Romanian public through online presentations, original social media content, and live sessions. These should showcase the various facets of the U.S. higher education environment, including, but not limited to, the array of programs of study and opportunities for international students. You will have the opportunity to develop your research and teaching skills by leading online workshops for our Opportunity Funds cohort (https://educationusa.state.gov/us-higher-education-professionals/special-programs#Funds), while working alongside experienced local EducationUSA advisers. You will be supported in developing new virtual programs that fulfill EducationUSA’s public diplomacy goals with the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest and benefit a more diverse and underprivileged audience in Romania.
Knowledge of Romanian is not required. All programming will be done in English.

Preference will be given to applicants who have a demonstrated interest in working with Romanian youth and prior experience with youth development, coaching, or mentoring.
