The American Corners in North Macedonia are spaces where people can come together to learn about the USA, to acquire new skills, to innovate and to network. In the nearly 15 years of existence in the country, the ACNM have constantly grown their membership and tailored their programs and resources to the needs and trends of the new generations.
Digital skills demand has noted a steady rise over recent years, but in the COVID-19 era, this is additionally highlighted. For this reason, the Corners look to expand their educational programs in the IT field, by offering more practical online workshops to teach their members employable skills, such as coding, web development, mobile apps development, digital marketing etc.
The role of the eIntern would be to organize and lead such IT courses, more specifically to create the curriculum and the lessons, to deliver online workshops and to mentor the participants on their projects. ACNM staff will provide support in online promotion and recruitment of participants, setting up the technical requirements, facilitating communication with the students, and other support upon the request of the intern.
