Mission
The Census Bureau’s mission is to serve as the nation’s leading provider of quality data about its people and economy. We're always looking for innovative ways to make Census Bureau statistics more accessible, useful, interesting, and relevant. And we need your help to help spread the word!
Your Work Makes A Difference
Responding to Census Bureau surveys helps your community get its fair share of funding. Census Bureau data guide how more than $675 billion in federal funding is distributed to states and communities each year. This information can help your community create jobs, provide housing, prepare for emergencies, and build schools, roads, and hospitals.
Opportunity
We are seeking an inspired intern to help us develop new infographics, animated gifs, data visualizations, social media graphics, and short form videos. If you join our team, you will work with advanced technologies and hone your marketable skills in the fields of visual design, agile project management, and digital communications. Past VSFS intern work has been featured in Census marketing promotions and have seen government marketing production processes first-hand.
