Ready to see what U.S. Public Diplomacy (PD) is all about? The PD intern will engage with hundreds of Pakistani students and young professionals on our virtual platforms by leading cultural diplomacy programs and professional development sessions. The intern will share her/his insights on American life and professional customs while giving students and young professionals important opportunities to interact with an American native speaker of English.

Each week the intern will work with the mentor to develop professional development training sessions for the Department of State's largest english language outreach program and general public on outward facing platforms. Intern will also participate in strategic planning meetings and will be responsible for writing on impact. Intern should have good public speaking and writing skills, demonstrate comfort researching and explaining technical skills (using social media, google sites, basic web-based apps), and be able to work in culturally diverse teams.
