The Department of State's air quality monitoring program places reference grade monitors at U.S. embassies and consulates. To date, 60 embassies and consulates have air quality monitors - often representing the only source of real-time, transparent, and reliable air quality data in the country. The program is expanding rapidly - adding another 5 monitors by the end of 2020. We need your help to manage the considerable amount of data from our monitors and sensors. This position will encompass support for the program managers to analyze data, develop data visualizations, evaluate our new air quality app and dashboard, draft and revise program guidance, and research opportunities to engage on innovative air quality projects with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), NASA, or other partners.
