|Project Summary||Assist social media coordinator in planning and drafting general posts for Facebook and Twitter that are consistent with Office of National Marine Sanctuary messaging and following federal government standards. May assist with other web-based duties as assigned.|

Create social media posts relevant to current issues, events, and national recognition days/weeks to raise awareness of Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary's mission to protect, conserve and restore the natural and cultural resources that drive the economy and the local way of life with a goal of 1-3 posts per week year-round utilizing existing information and images. Intern will research topics, write posts, select photos and submit to mentor for approval and posting. May assist with other web-based duties as assigned such as writing web stories. Intern will not be required to gain a government clearance and will not have administrative/editor capability on government social media accounts.
