Project Description

We seek a self-motivated virtual intern to help us strengthen German-U.S. relations through our signature youth outreach and engagement project, the “Consul General’s Youth Advisory Council.” Duties include:

-Develop interactive outreach and program ideas that inspire Northern German youth audiences to become active and engaged in transatlantic issues

-Design a comprehensive social media strategy for various platforms to increase awareness of the Consulate General Hamburg’s youth councils and evaluate its impact in different regions

-Develop digital youth council recruitment tools

- Based on research on topics of interest among Northern German youth, identify innovative and creative youth projects in the U.S. in order to connect them with youth councils in Northern Germany

-Assist in planning and implementing virtual and collaborative transatlantic youth programs
