Project Description

COVID-19 will have profound impacts within and between every country in the world for many years. Everyone's way of life will change in some way and domestic and international policies may have to adapt to a new world order. As the U.S. Department of State seeks to develop and refine foreign policy to ensure U.S. leadership in economic prosperity and security, we must consider different scenarios of a post pandemic world. The intern will be paired with an officer in the Office of the Science and Technology Advisor to the Secretary (STAS) to research open source (online public domain) information to assess the impacts of COVID-19 on geopolitics, economic recovery, science, and technology.
