The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program is the Federal government's flagship leadership development program for advanced degree holders. Each year, we recruit thousands of applicants to apply to the Fellowship and work with over 100 Federal agencies to create Fellowship opportunities.
To support our recruitment efforts, we have created the PMF Ambassadors Program. PMF Ambassadors are a volunteer network of current PMFs and PMF Alumni who are available to engage academic institutions and prospective applicants about the program. Ambassadors carry out a wide variety of activities, such as conducting information sessions, serving on career panels, hosting brown bags, or serving as mentors for graduate students.
Our office seeks an intern to help manage the efforts of our 150-person volunteer network, help document our existing strategy for outreach and engagement, analyze the effectiveness of the program, and identify program improvements. Through this role, you will have the opportunity to think creatively with the support of a collaborative team.
An interest in leadership development, university relations, marketing, graphic design, data analysis, and communications will be an asset. The following skills are preferred, but not required. We seek a creative thinker, with strong writing skills, and an interest in learning.
