The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) mission is to ensure America’s security and prosperity by addressing its energy, environmental and nuclear challenges through transformative science and technology solutions. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Architecture, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (AETI) directs digital strategy and agile implementation of innovative, safe, and mission-focused IT products and integration services, enabling DOE to fulfill its enterprise mission objectives. We are the innovation powerhouse of technological advancement and strategy, ensuring quality data management and agile mission outcomes. AETI will enable innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies across DOE though the DOE Innovation Community Center (ICC). The ICC is a highly collaborative environment where an interconnected network of leading experts engage and explore advanced and emerging technologies to address mission challenges.

We are looking for forward-thinking strategists and designers to help advance the way DOE does modernization and transformation by helping to design pathways from silos to enterprise-wide collaboration that are innovative, agile, and adaptive, using evidence to drive mission value. There are opportunities to work on a variety of projects that include data analytics, training development, capability mapping, implementation of emerging technology, communications and promotion.
