Project Description

We have lots of data in many places, but it is not useful if only computers can understand it. We want to build good looking graphical dashboards using Splunk so the data can tell stories in meaningful ways that also look good.

We will be building out nifty graphical dashboards inside Splunk. Gathering data logs from physical machines, clouds, Internet of Things sensors, wireless equipment, and other electronic equipment.

The goal of this project is to turn computer logs from boring words or zeros and ones into fabulous graphical charts and graphs. We make data interesting again.

You don't have to be an expert in computer science as we can provide trainings in the Splunk platform. You do have to be passionate about making a difference and making awesome graphical visualizations.

Additional Information

We are looking for candidates passionate about making a difference on a large scale, global environment. Our team members are adaptable fast thinkers working in a collaborative environment. We communicate using Slack, we share ideas via Google Docs and O365, we are evangelists on a cloud-first approach. Embracing telework with full collaborations.

We care more about your passion for learning new things and self-accomplishments on creating things that make a difference. We will provide training on Splunk (www.splunk.com) and other tools and platforms we use. You will be treated as equals as we are all part of the same team.

If you major in Computer Science, great! If you are curious but major in something totally different, not an issue. All you need is the passion to learn new things and willing to strive to make a difference.
