|Project Summary||Provide analysis on the changing political environment in Brazil as related to climate change. Support the US-Brazil Climate Change Working Group.|

Interns will follow and report on Brazil politics thinking about how this could impact their progress on climate issues, including but not limited to the president, the administration, political parties, independent candidates, congress, legislation, public policies, public opinion, elections, civil society movements, anti-corruption/transparency efforts, and social issues that are part of public discourse. Interns will follow these topics by reading/watching/listening to Portuguese and English-language publicly-available content, including newspapers; op-eds and blogs; television/radio programs; social media, including Twitter, Facebook; and public statements by Brazilian officials, thought leaders, and academics. Interns will regularly draft and e-mail to English summaries of the online content and links to the original sources. Interns may also be asked to assist with the conduct of the US-Brazil Climate Change Working Group.
